Hear from Michael Nadasdy, Cybercrime Programme Manager at Herts County Council on how businesses are vulnerable to cybercrime. SMEs don’t think they are a target for cyber criminals but they couldn’t be more wrong – you ARE a target, you MUST take the threat seriously and you need to take ACTION!

David Crooks, Hertfordshire Energy Adviser at Low Carbon Workspaces will present on reduce your energy costs, find operational efficiencies and do your bit to save the planet!

 

Cybercrime Presentation: What will it cover? 

You will hear a brief presentation on the very real threat to SMEs from cybercrime, covering the most common methods used to steal from businesses and the basic steps that can be taken to keep secure.

An opportunity to have a 1:1 chat with an accredited Hertfordshire IT service provider about any specific challenges or concerns that you face.

And best of ALL, all the attendees that represent a business with five or fewer employees will be entitled to a FREE cyber ‘health check’ at a date and time that suits them, with a Government-accredited IT provider. This service is funded by Herts PCC to raise awareness of the risk of cybercrime to small businesses and would normally cost hundreds of pounds.

 

Low Carbon Presentation: What will it cover? 

How to identify, fund and implement actions to reduce your energy bills and carbon emissions. Using examples from your local businesses, the talk will provide practical advice on topics including billing, energy monitoring, different types of energy saving technology and calculating the best return on investment.
