Protecting & Enhancing your business reputation

This is event is a collaboration between HSE, Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, BBfA Herts, LEP, Herts Growth Hub, to deliver a ‘Regulation Simplified’ event in Hertfordshire. It’s a morning event consisting of expert talks/workshops, interactive stands and drop-in group surgeries where businesses can bring their problems along to obtain advice and guidance.

In addition to the HSE content the event will provide the following talks:

• Herts Police – Well-being in the workplace, how to reduce the risks of workplace violence and burglary.
• Business Continuity and Fire Safety. Simple steps to reduce your risks and keep your business operational in an emergency situation e.g. flooding, terrorism, fire.
• Introduction to BBfA anf then Panel Q&A – ‘regulatory advice and support’ – what’s available and how to access it (LA regulator teams, SME representative, business consultant). The plan is to use Sli.do app, which is free, for businesses to raise questions in advance of the panel session.

Included is a networking lunch and exhibition stands for all the businesses mentioned above plus Cyber Crime Herts scheme, Trading Standards, Fire Protection, Environmental Health, Herts Growth Hub, Enterprise Agencies and other business support organisations.

There will also be clinic sessions for businesses to ask specific questions of regulatory experts.
