Progression 2 LTd - Online Business Directory

Progression 2 is a private training provider based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, working in partnership with Oaklands College.  We are advocates of blended learning where our students use computer programmes to gain knowledge, and receive one to one support as and when they require it.  We also run small workshops in Speaking and Listening, Employability, Customer Service, Business and Administration and Interview Skills.  All of our courses lead to nationally recognised qualifications with one of our accredited awarding bodies, OCR, Edexcel, HABC and BCS.

Blended learning, online learning with one to one support, allows our students to take ownership of their learner journey.  They can learn at their own pace, repeating sections if required, it eliminates peer pressure and learning takes place at a pace to suit the individual.   If a session is missed for any reason the learning remains in the same place until the student returns to continue with their course which ensures that there are no gaps in the learning.

All of our courses have been researched and sourced direct from the manufacturers, providing you with tried and tested materials that we trust and know provide excellent results.  In 2014-15 academic year all of our achievement rates were higher than the national average, and our overall achievement rate across the board was 98%.

For blended learning our daily learning sessions are from 09:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 16:30.   Students are free to choose which sessions and which days they attend, but should endeavour to attend three sessions a week in general.  One to one tutoring sessions are booked when these are required to look at a topic in more depth on an individual basis.  All work is marked on a daily basis with feedback being ready for your next appointment, along with further work and guidance as necessary.

Whilst learning you will have a review meeting every four weeks with your tutor to monitor your learning and ensure you are happy with your learning journey.  Once you have completed your learning we will help you prepare for your examinations, with mock exams and revision materials.   We test twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays and once you are confident in all areas we will book you on the next session to suit.  If you are unable to make these testing sessions we can often book testing times to suit, as long as an invigilator is available.

Throughout your learner journey with Progression 2, you will be the focus of the programme. You will learn at your own pace, receive support when you need it, and undertake your exams when you are in a position to pass.  Our aim is to help you achieve your potential and progress onto further learning or work, by meeting your own personal goals and fulfilling your potential.
